From $100,000 a year to unemployed

Eric Bell, 41, was making about $100,000 a year at a financial services company. His career was rising. But things came crashing down in May when his job was slashed. He thought with his MBA, he could get a new job quickly. Seven months later, the father of a 5-year-old boy has yet to find a full-time job. But he remains optimistic, and a psychologist says Bell's situation has important lessons for others.
